I have the most adorable Valentine’s Day idea for you and your kids! This Pixy Stix Valentine is easy to make and extremely affordable. Plus, in total Smart School House fashion, I have created a free Valentine Printable for you to use! Valentine’s Day is one of the most memorable days during the school year. That’s why I love putting together unique and creative Valentine ideas (have you seen THIS ONE yet? It is so cute). My daughter’s name is Stella, but the Valentine tags have a blank spot for you (or your child) to write their name in.

To get started, you will need the following supplies:

Pixy Stix (I got mine from the dollar store)

Rubber band

Ribbon

Red craft foam (optional)

The process is so easy it makes me giggle:) You could make enough of these for an entire class in one afternoon! Simply wrap a desired amount of Pixy Sticks up in a rubber band or with ribbon. If your in a hurry, the rubber band is the fastest way. I used a ribbon to group mine together. Then, glue a piece of ribbon to the back of the rubber band. If you want a red boarder around your Valentine tags like shown in my pictures, I suggest using craft foam. But, any red paper will do! Or, simply print out the tags and use them alone. As a teacher, I always suggest having the kids write their names on all of their own Valentine’s. But, that is totally up to you! After all, kids love the help of their parents:)
