DIY Halloween Decorations
I’m so excited to share some of my cute DIY Halloween decorations with you today! DIY is a fancy short way of writing “Do-It-Yourself”. Do you like making your own decorations for parties and holidays? Me too!! In fact, I have a whole gallery of seasonal crafts and other DIY decorations that you can see HERE. Today, I’m going to share a new Halloween decoration idea with you as well as take a walk down spooky memory lane and resurrect some old Halloween crafts (tee hee!!). How do you like my new Spooky Pinwheels? Ok, they’re more sweet than spooky, no?
Aren’t these Halloween pinwheels so adorable? I simply used paper straws, googly eyes, scrapbook paper, and hot glue.
I’ve made some pinwheels in the past. So, if you’d like to make some super simple DIY pinwheels, visit my tutorial HERE for instructions.
Or, you can see how simple they are to make here with my Candy Corn Pinwheels:
Last year, I made these Mason Witches. They are the easiest of any mason jar craft out there!
How about some Solar Pumpkins? Just another little DIY project from last year that was easy peasy lemon squeezy!
Do you like to celebrate holidays by counting down to the big day? Check out my DIY Halloween Countdown Magnet frame:
Here is a sneak peek of an upcoming craft….so stay tuned:

how fun! love the googly eyes
These are so cute. I would love to make them with my niece.
I am not a crafty person at all but I want to start making crafts with my almost 3 year old granddaughter. These crafts you have posted on here are the perfect ones to start and I love Halloween!! Thanks for posting this!
So cute! I especially love the pinwheels! I think I could adapt them for a birthday party, too!!
I love your pinwheels! My son is big into cyclops. He would love the one eyed pinwheel. I have pinned this post.
I love these, but I can’t find these “eyes” anywhere. Only the simple black ones, but they aren’t as spooky. Can you give us a hint where to look for them??
Jule
Hi!!
I actually bought the eyes at Michaels in the googly eyes section (which is kind of like the kids crafts area). I bet one of the employees can help you! My Michaels had a great variety of googly eyes. Good luck and keep me posted! XO, Kelly
Very neat idea!
